Where to start?
Maybe when our flight got cancelled due to some volcanic ash making its way from Chile?
Then, there was the time where we set off the panic alarm at 4:30am on our way to the airport in Sydney, waking up the whole neighbourhood in shock.
That brings us to our next bout of bad luck, where Korean Air almost banned us from flying to Israel because we didn't have visas.
Without food in Korea, we scavenged around the hotel buffet and managed to produce a platter of fresh fruit and vegetables..mmm..tuna salad.
But we managed to get through all of this, and 70 hours later, arrived in Israel.
Did it get worse?
Oh yes it did..
Waiting 2 hours for our sheirut to take us to J.town..
Not having the money for our apartment...
Sleeping a meagre 3 hours the night we arrived, waking up from a sledgehammer in our apartment building...
Losing our apartment key in an attempt to climb over a gate...
Waking up again from the construction people hammering away...
Ant invasion in our bathroom...
Harassment from the landlords re: the money
And to top it all off..Roth and her foot infection/blisters disabling her to moveBut alas, this chain of bad luck has not got us down as there are too many things in this beautiful city of Jerusalem that brings a smile to our face.
